Qualified therapist offering one to one counselling support

What is counselling and how does it help

At some point everyone will face challenging situations in their life and counselling is a therapy where you can feel free to talk about these issues and get support at a regular time in a safe and confidential place.

Counselling helps you explore difficult feelings, thoughts and behaviour and look at ways you can make changes.

It’s not about giving you advice or telling you what you should do but aims to assist you in gaining a better understanding of yourself and the situation and finding ways to live your life more positively.  By gaining awareness changes can take place.

Maybe you are convinced that showing your vulnerability in therapy can be seen as a weakness, but it actually shows courage in the face of your difficulties.
